Really Good spot and for the Low. Highly recommend! Maybe better to call for pickup because it gets packed, at least on Sundays. Wish they made handmade tortillas, but if you can make them or find them like at Rio Bravo market, hits the spot every time!

This is a hidden gem. They are more known for their menudo, which is very delicious, but they have more options on the menu. My husband loves their carne asada and raja gorditas. He will not go anywhere else for gorditas. They also have breakfast options, tortas, lonches and tacos. I have tried basically everything on the menu and i have been satisfied every time. Their horchata is just the right amount of sweetness while also being refreshing. Service is quick and the food is always cooked right and hot AND it is reasonably priced. Worth the visit every time.

Little hole in the wall, excellent service. The waitress was very kind, fast, and efficient. The best part was the Menudo which made me feel like I was back home I am usually very picky about menudo because my grandma has always made it so well, but this place was so good I had to check the kitchen to make sure my grandma wasn't back there making it.

Excellent little hole in the wall restaurant. Affordable and authentic Mexican food. The tacos were delicious and the beef was cooked just right. They also had Mexi-Coke. (If you're not familiar, Mexican coca-cola has real cane sugar and it makes a world of difference in taste.) I recommended this place to my brother and he said it was awesome too! Great little spot if you're in the mood for tacos or menudos (cow tongue)

3.5 stars. This place is more "hole in the wall" than usual. The chairs were still stacked on the tables at 3:30p and there were uncleared tables. Service was prompt and friendly. The young waitress spoke English easily, though she had some issues explaining the menu. Menu was small; tortillas were not housemade. We ordered the namesake thinking it's got to be good. Overall, I think it was, but after finishing the meal, the menudo i ate elsewhere had more depth. Here there was hominy and cabbage you can add in along with the usual lime and onions. But I'm going to be vague and say the flavor didn't pop. Sorry, I don't make the dish, I just eat it. Still a good bowl and better than El rancho's. Gordita was fine, and even better than the tortillas to eat with the menudo. I think the rajas had potatoes and maybe cactus (loroco) in it. Glad to have had the chance to check this place out. I was the only non Spanish speaker here, so that's a good sign, right:)
